ADR (Dangerous goods) training
Working at our location and with one of our established trainers we are happy to provide a full range of Dangerous Goods (ADR) training courses.
Running in small groups to ensure every student receives detailed tuition we offer initial qualification, refresher qualification as well as specialist modules (explosives, radio-actives & tankers).
Using recognised, approved training material coupled with extensive trainer knowledge and many examples of "What happens if it goes wrong" students will gain a thorough understanding of the basics of dangerous goods as well as in depth knowledge of specific risks and mitigation.
The initial course runs for 3 full days with computer based multiple choice exams on day 4. Additional / specialised modules require extra days. Subject to SQA's (the awarding body for dangerous goods) running smoothly students get their results on the same day meaning as soon as their qualification card arrives they are good to go.
Although the ADR qualification is aimed at drivers it provides an extremely sound and valuable knowledge base for all those involved in the planning, handling and storing of dangerous goods ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work's 'adequate training and supervision' requirements.
We aim to be running these courses in early 2022 and will publish dates, courses and costs here shortly.
